Project Description
​
The Arctic Pad® was installed by Seadrill as the only viable solution to winterize escape routes, walkways and stairways, especially where expanded grating was used. This included installation on all accommodation decks and stairways with particular attention given to the Heli-deck access. As the Arctic Pad® was introduced to Seadrill and Statoil near completion of the winterization upgrade onboard West Hercules there was a suitable existing arrangement in place for control and monitoring of The Advanced Mat System®.
This was an expedited project which Advanced Mat Systems Inc. achieved delivery ahead of schedule.
