Project Description
Arctic Pad® and Arctic Treads were initially selected and ordered in December 2013 for a retrofit of the vessel, due to the rapid and ease of installation. Areas included heated stair treads and landings for all stairways from the Pilot House to the main deck. Heated stairway landings and walkways for the new Heli-deck. Due to the simplicity and low power requirements, the owner elected to utilize a simple switchboard system to energize the packages when needed.

This vessel package was expanded upon to include additional non-critical areas such as access to the engine rooms, small access stairways and a newly installed oil spill recovery deck (Trans Rec) for both Arctic Pads and Treads.
