Project Description

The Barone Campus at Fairfield University underwent a complete transformation of the interior, exterior and equipment as an energy efficient and modern upgrade for the university.  As the leading experts in winterization AMS® was chosen.  This project consisted of Arctic Pad® for the landing areas and treads for a steel exterior escape stairwell.  This snowmelt system was seamlessly installed by Dicin Electric.

The Advanced Mat System® operates on a control system that monitors ambient temperature allowing for the Arctic Pads to automatically turn on and off as needed.
