AMS® was contacted to provide a highly technical product which included:

• low voltage heat

• multiple product design specifications

• longevity for the abuse of day to day foot traffic, 

• integration into a high performance electric public transport vehicle

• rapid and easy installation

Together with our client we designed a product to meet all the parameters.   A prototype was produced and tested for durability in an independent lab.  After 600,000 steps with a ski boot there was hardly any visible wear, which was a delight for our client.

The versatility of AMS® manufacturing allows for this specialized product to be produced in low quantities as requested by the client, which requires a re-tool for orders as small as one.
