Assurant’s cutting-edge York Facility faced a persistent problem with snow and ice at its entrance. Despite trying various off-the-shelf heated treads, these products needed frequent replacement, typically within one year.  That's when the facility approached AMS® seeking a lasting solution that could be used year-round. Assurant received a low-maintenance package with intelligent controls eliminating the necessity for constant monitoring.

 

AMS® delivered a tailored plug-and-play solution that perfectly met their requirements. We designed high-traction heated treads that seamlessly fit into their existing space. Additionally, we supplied an economical control system programmed to function based on ambient temperatures, automatically activating or deactivating the Arctic Treads as necessary.
